Once upon a time, there was a boy who was a shepherd. He was very bored as he had to spend long hours every day watching his sheep graze. So, to make things more exciting, he started crying out, "Wolf! Wolf!" even when there was no wolf around.
The nearby villagers would rush to help the boy, but when they arrived, they found out that there was no wolf. They scolded the boy for wasting their time and went back to their work.
