Room 13: A Hotel Horror Story - Short Hotel Stories

It was a dark and stormy night. The rain was falling in sheets and the wind was blowing in the streets. A single traveler, a young woman named Sarah, was passing through town, looking for a place to stay. She had been traveling for days, and she was tired and hungry.

Finally, he saw a sign that read "Hotel Royale" and breathed a sigh of relief. She hurried to the hotel to get out of the rain. As she entered the lobby, she was greeted by a friendly receptionist.

"Welcome to the Hotel Royal," said the receptionist with a smile. "how can I help you?"

"I need a room for the night," Sarah said, shivering from the cold.

"Sure," said the receptionist, checking her computer. "We have one room available, room 13 on the third floor. Would you like to take it?"

Sarah hesitated for a moment. She had always been superstitious, and she knew that 13 was considered an unlucky number. But she was so tired that she decided to take the room anyway.

"Yes, I will," she said.

The receptionist gave her a key and directed her to her room. Sarah thanked him and headed for the elevator. When she reached the third floor, she couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that settled in her stomach.

Reaching his room he opened the door and stepped inside. The room was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed and a window that looked out into the stormy night. Sarah breathed a sigh of relief and began unpacking her luggage.

But as she sat up in bed, she heard strange noises outside her door. It sounded like someone was whispering and laughing in the hallway. Sarah sat on the bed feeling uneasy.

She got up from the bed and went to the door and pressed his ear to it to listen. The whispers and laughter grew louder and Sarah could hear footsteps near her door.

Suddenly there was a loud knock at the door. Sarah recoiled in horror.

"Who's there?" he cried.

There was no answer. The knocking continued, louder and more insistent.

Sarah backed away from the door in fear. She didn't know what to do. He thought about calling the receptionist for help but then remembered that his phone was dead.

The knock suddenly stopped and everything was still for a moment. Then Sarah heard a whisper outside her door.

"Let us in," the voice whispered.

Sarah felt a chill run down her spine. She didn't know who or what was outside her door, but she knew she didn't want to let them in.

She backed away from the door and sat on the bed, feeling scared and alone. He wished he had never taken room 13 at the Hotel Royal.

As the night wore on, Sarah heard more strange noises outside her door. He heard whispers and laughter and footsteps approaching. She ignored them and tried to sleep but she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled over her.

In the morning when the storm had passed and the sun was shining again, Sarah packed her things and left room 13 as quickly as possible. As soon as he left the hotel and hit the road, he did not look back.

As she walked away from the Hotel Royale, Sarah couldn't help but wonder what was outside her door that night. She knew she would never forget Room 13 or the strange events that happened there.
